A semester or yearlong role that will provide the student with an opportunity to earn credit hours and compensation for special events. This position will gain valuable experience needed to assist with obtaining full-time employment within an athletic department. Completion of this internship will not guarantee you a position within the Creighton University Athletic Department. Responsibilities: • Work with a variety of sports and the game management (M/W Soccer, Volleyball, M/W Basketball, Softball and Baseball) • Prepare game specific documents to be distributed to all departments involved in game day operations for home events • Manage game day facets of a home event such as field setup crowd control, visiting team and officials, weather communication, emergency action plans, facility awareness • Professional development and networking opportunities available through Creighton functions, meetings, and events • Gain experience working with other departments, such as marketing, ticketing, equipment, media relations, etc. • Understand, plan, and execute the setting and striking for sporting events and special functions

Minimum Qualifications:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or Graduate degree in a sport administration/management field of
study or completed a sports administration degree. 
• Knowledge of NCAA/Big East rules and regulations.
• Written and oral communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team environment and strong 
organizational skills.
