osition Description Cedar Crest College, an NCAA Division III member, is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual for the position of Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications. The Graduate Assistant will assist the Director of Athletic Communications and Media Relations in all aspects of athletic communication for the department. This position will focus on supporting all aspects of communication for social media, game day management and postgame coverage of the success of our student-athletes, coaches and staff at Cedar Crest College.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting in game day operations for athletic communications, website maintenance through SIDEARM, game releases, feature stories, etc. Assist in team media days for all teams, and as well as supporting social media initiatives, and supporting the daily operations of the athletic program. Additional duties may be assigned by the Director of Athletic Communications or the Athletic Director based on departmental needs.
This position includes shared on-campus housing, 12 graduate credits annually, and a stipend of $2,000.00/semester (fall and spring).
Qualifications A minimum of a bachelor’s degree Collegiate playing experience and/or game day support staff experience a plus Admission to a Cedar Crest College graduate program Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills A valid driver’s license and applicable background clearances
