We are hiring an Inside Sales Executive to join our Business Development team and make an immediate impact. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing company and gain valuable sales expertise & industry knowledge.
We will provide sales training and development for the individual, with potential of developing the individual into an outside sales position for the future (including travel, client facing interaction, in-person pitches, etc. at that time, if applicable). We are looking for a go getter who aspires to build a career in sales and is committed to personal and professional growth.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, delivering sales results by driving lead generation, building sales pipelines (“new” business opportunities/relationships) and generating/closing sales opportunities.
Other responsibilities entail:
Introductory-calling, outbound prospecting, and intelligently articulating company value proposition at management and executive levels.
Identifying and developing relationships with key decision makers across various organizations
Prospective client organizational mapping and uncovering their business needs.
Producing quality opportunities that can be passed to Director of Business Development, National Accounts Executive and/or VGS Executive Team to execute the closing stage.
However, candidate can eventually develop to a point/skill level where they too would be a National Account Executive themselves.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/experience:
Past leadership experience (whether in a career, HS/Collegiate athletics, service group, etc.)
Will receive "on the job" training using our Sales Playbook and Target Lists
Experience in cold calling, lead generation would be a plus
High motivation to succeed and advance in a sales career.
A team player attitude, with a commitment to service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook/Word/Excel), and/or ability to quickly learn new programs.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and or direct out bound B2B sales experience
Because we provide design services and signage for restaurant & retail brands, knowledge, or related sales experience in any of the following industries is a plus:
