The Assistant Athletic Director, Development (“Assistant AD”) for the Montana State University Alumni Foundation (“Alumni Foundation”) works with and reports directly to the Associate Athletic Director for Development, as part of the Alumni Foundation’s Development Team and in collaboration with the Montana State University (“MSU”) Athletics Department. The Assistant AD is responsible for the Annual Scholarship Fund for Bobcat Athletics, promoting and expanding the understanding and revenue for the department’s Student-Athlete Scholarships through increased awareness and growth within the MSU Athletics Community, state of Montana and region. The Assistant AD is also responsible for securing Major Gifts (greater than $25,000) in support of MSU by establishing relationships with donors, working to ensure that donor intent is honored, and serving as trustees to ensure donor intent is clearly communicated and honored. This position requires high collaboration, motivation, and skill in creating and executing compelling annual giving and engagement strategies.
