Position Summary Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management, the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management will coordinate the maintenance of all athletic facilities.
This position requires evening and weekend hours.
Essential Functions •Coordinates the set up and break down of all intercollegiate practices and home games. •Serves as Event Manager for selected home intercollegiate events, and assists the Assistant Athletic Director with football, men’s & women’s basketball home games. •Maintains all athletic facilities and grounds in an organized, clean environment. •Acts as liaison to selected University departments such as University Facilities and Grounds, and the Custodial department. •Assists with athletic capital improvement projects as needed. •Complies with all NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations.

Management Responsibilities Guides work of other employees who perform essentially the same work and/or student workers. Organizes, sets priorities, schedules and reviews work, but is generally not responsible for final decisions in hiring, performance management or compensation.
Additional Functions •Operates University-owned or leased vehicles to transport students, staff, and/or equipment in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and insurance requirements.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience •Bachelor’s Degree. •Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities management or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills •High level organizational skills. •Demonstrated commitment and motivation to building a successful program. •Strong interpersonal and communication skills. •Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to the goals of Jesuit Education.
Preferred Qualifications •Experience managing athletic facility operations and/or event management in a collegiate environment. •Experience with Daktronics scoreboard equipment. •Valid Driver’s License.
Minimum Starting Salary: $70,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $80,900
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
