Ticket Sales Consultants are responsible to the Director, Intercollegiate Athletics, or appropriate administrator in the athletic department.
Summary of Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for maintaining athletic equipment, buildings, and/or practice fields, developing a public affairs program; conducting an academic advisement program; or assisting in the coordination of special strength building programs for athletes.
Responsible for ensuring athletic department compliance with all institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations, including the development and implementation of procedures by which compliance will be determined and documented.
Assists the Athletic Director or Athletic Coach as required in other special projects concerning athletic programs.
Duties include selling tickets for all FAU ticketed sports through outbound and inbound calling. The position will sell season tickets, season ticket upgrades, upsells & add-ons, group ticket packages, partial/mini-plan packages, and single game tickets.
Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals while exceeding client expectations in value and customer service.
Grow sales each week by attracting additional business leads.
Maintain computerized records of all prospects and customers within the ticketing database.
Make a minimum of 20 connections (conversations) with fans daily.
Make up to 80 calls a day.
Availability to work Athletic events including home games and special events. Reps are expected to work games/events during each calendar year.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by Assistant AD of Ticket Sales and Service
Perform the other duties as needed/assigned.
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Must also have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.
