								<description>Kenosha, Wisconsin,  The University of Wisconsin-Parkside is proud to offer a Strength &#38; Conditioning Graduate Assistant position for the 2026-27 academic year. The graduate assistant will gain valuable experience in Wisconsin&#8217;s NCAA Division II athletics department. 

 

The successful candidates will work a 10-month appointment for the 2026-27 academic year with the opportunity for renewal of a second year 12-month appointment. Each graduate assistant will receive a full tuition waiver and an annual stipend of $9,000, paid monthly. These positions will remain open until filled. Anticipated start date for the positions will be August 1, with the potential for a mutually-agreed upon earlier start date and summer employment. 

The athletics administration graduate assistants will also assist with the operations of the Sports &#38; Activity Center and Wellness Center functions. To be eligible, students must be admitted to the in-person Master of Sport Management Program (MSSM) at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. Appointments are contingent upon maintenance of minimum credit requirements and good standing in the MSSM program.

The strength &#38; conditioning graduate assistant will report directly to the Head Coach &#8211; Strength &#38; Conditioning with duties including but not limited to:

Collaborate with sport coaches to design and execute programming and schedule team workouts for each sport.

Assist in providing continual education of student-athlete skill development and mental/motivating techniques for competition.

Designs and implements strength and conditioning programs, which include power, strength, speed, agility, flexibility, nutrition, and conditioning for assigned team.

Monitors, documents, and reports student-athletes&#8217; progression.

Collaborates with athletic training staff in development of rehab protocols for injured athletes


 
 
 Bachelor&#8217;s degree. 
 
 
 Experience as a student-athlete, student worker or intern in college athletics, high school, professional sports or relevant equivalent experience.</description>

								<description>Milwaukee, Wisconsin,  Wisconsin Lutheran College, a NCAA Division III member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has an opening for a men&#39;s soccer graduate assistant position. The position is a two-year appointment with assignment beginning around July 1, 2026. 

 Requirements * WLC generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position * Bachelor&#8217;s degree and admission into Wisconsin Lutheran College&#8217;s graduate program in M.S. in Sport and Recreation Management, M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership, M.A.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Innovation, M.A.Ed. in School Leadership, M.A.Ed. in Special Education/Pupil Services Leadership, and M.S. in Professional Counseling * Prior successful playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level preferred; successful high school or club coaching experience considered * Commitment to developing positive relationships with student-athletes, coaches, administration, and the greater WLC community. 

 Job Responsibilities (include but not limited to) * Assist Head Coach with practice planning, preparation, and execution * Aid in implementing strength and conditioning program * Attend all practices, games, team events, camps, and clinics * Head Varsity Reserve Team Coach: Aid in players&#8217; development in practices and games, coordinate travel needs * Identify potential recruits at high school games/tournaments and club tournaments * Attend games and tournaments in Wisconsin and the Midwest area * Initiate contact with recruits via email and phone conversations * Use Slate CRM system to organize recruits and all communication and status updates * Assist Head Coach with on-campus recruiting visits and events * Communicate with WLC admissions department on prospective student-athletes * Upload game film to Hudl and conference pool upon game conclusion * Analyze opponent&#8217;s film and put together competent scouting reports * Provide individual academic and athletic feedback and guidance to student-athletes * Assist Head Coach in scheduling, transportation, lodging, and meal accommodations * Fundraising: Assist Head Coach in all aspects of organizing, implementing, and working fundraising events; including all summer camps and clinics * Equipment: Assist Head Coach in inventory, care, and ordering of program equipment * Other duties that are consistent with the nature of the position as requested by Head Coach or Athletics Director. 

 The compensation package includes an $18,000 stipend, daily meals, and an affordable on-campus housing option. Bachelor&#8217;s degree is required. Valid driver&#39;s license is required. Admission into Wisconsin Lutheran College&#8217;s graduate program is required and selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
