Frostburg State University is seeking a Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field to begin spring 2026. This position will be responsible for providing athletic coaching, supervision, recruiting, academic monitoring, and other duties related to the sports of Cross Country and Track & Field as assigned by the head coach. Candidates will assist and travel with the distance student-athletes for Cross Country and Track & Field. This position would report to the Head Cross Country Coach and have responsibilities designated to Cross Country/Distance as well as Pole Vault.
This position is granted 12 credit hours tuition waiver per term and 30 credit hours per 12-month cycle. A $4500.00 stipend is paid per semester. Graduate program Standards can be accessed at WWW.FROSTBURG.EDU/grad/programs.htm.

Applicants must possess previous playing experience, a bachelor's degree and 3.0 GPA to be admissible to desired graduate program if offered the position. Preference will be given to candidate who possess previous coaching experience and knowledge of Frostburg's regional recruiting area.
