The Inside Sales Associate quotes, follows up on, and closes sales opportunities, focusing on boxed goods, parts, and rentals. The primary responsibilities of this position include selling and renting theatrical supplies, parts, and equipment.
This position will occasionally require overnight travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned or required):
Act as the primary point of intake for sales and rental opportunities, including generating opportunities with contact information and scope in the CRM for follow-up, and sales orders for processing by Parlights’ fulfillment team.
Identify, track, and close sales and rental opportunities to achieve established sales targets and goals. Work includes:
Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries.
Generate quotations in response to customer inquiries and/ or leads developed by other sales resources.
Promptly generate sales orders and/or rental contracts for booked sales.
Promptly generate invoices for counter and credit card sales in accordance with established guidelines.
Track and close quoted opportunities. Actively pursue new opportunities for profitable business.
Provide or arrange for product demonstrations to support sales efforts.
As necessary, requisition merchandise from operations to maintain sales inventory stocking levels.
Assist in the maintenance of a customer pricing system and discount schedule (i.e., update price lists as required).
Actively participate in the development, tracking, modification, and execution of the Annual Sales Plan.
Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and potential customers. Attend trade shows and special events as directed.
Keep abreast of current and emerging products and technologies relevant to Parlights. Seek and engage in appropriate opportunities for professional development.
Assist in the maintenance of Parlights facilities in a clean and orderly fashion, as directed.
