The George Mason University, Office of Integrated Enrollment Marketing invites applications for an Enrollment Marketing Operations Coordinator. The Integrated Enrollment Marketing (IEM) Team strives to create, maintain, execute and assess marketing and communications plans across multiple channels to support and enhance the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of new students to the university.
The Enrollment Marketing Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for the main undergraduate communications calendar and leads twice-weekly coordination meetings for the stakeholder group. They serve as a resource to colleges and departments across the university to report on communication plan performance. This position serves an integral role on the IEM team and requires exceptional attention to detail, flexibility, a high level of organization and problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The Enrollment Marketing Operations Coordinator supports the Integrated Enrollment Marketing office by managing the scheduling and queuing of all undergraduate email and text communications, creating dashboards to evaluate marketing plan performance, and assisting in troubleshooting CRM communication data issues.
This position is also responsible for coordinating content for and coding the undergraduate student portal. The Enrollment Marketing Operations Coordinator will work closely with the Admissions Technical Team, Salesforce Team, and Enrollment Management teams in order to troubleshoot technical communications questions or concerns within the Salesforce-based CRM and texting tool.
Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple (often competing) priorities, document procedures, troubleshoot technical issues, and meet tight deadlines;
Demonstrated experience in project management, executing communication campaigns, or data reporting;
Experience working with a Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Demonstrated high degree of independence and initiative;
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively on a team;
Experience managing stakeholder groups;
Knowledge of higher education admissions cycles;
Experience working with Salesforce CRM;
Experience with project management software;
A minimum of 2 years of work experience in higher education or non-profit field.
