Position Overview: We are seeking an Account Executive based in or near Fayetteville, AR, focused on growing TheLinkU’s footprint at and around the University of Arkansas. This role is relationship-driven and execution-focused, responsible for identifying opportunities, closing partnerships, and supporting the rollout of NIL and Rev Gen initiatives tied to the Arkansas market. This is a high-impact role where your ability to build trust, influence decision-makers, and close deals directly supports student-athletes and drives growth for TheLinkU.
Key Responsibilities: - Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, university stakeholders, collectives, and local/regional businesses connected to the University of Arkansas - Identify, pitch, and close new NIL and Rev Gen partnership opportunities using a consultative sales approach - Represent TheLinkU’s national offerings locally, with a focus on revenue generation programs and compliant NIL execution - Lead meetings with prospective partners and guide them through the full partnership lifecycle - Negotiate and secure partnership agreements that align incentives across athletes, universities, and brands - Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, client success, product) to ensure smooth onboarding and execution - Represent TheLinkU at on-campus meetings, local events, and industry gatherings - Maintain accurate pipeline activity and reporting within CRM tools - Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth
What We’re Looking For
Preferred 2+ years of B2B sales experience preferred (sports, SaaS, marketing, or NIL-related experience a plus)
Strong understanding of or passion for college athletics, NIL, and the University of Arkansas ecosystem
Proven ability to build relationships and sell to multiple stakeholders
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and closing skills
Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
Able to work independently while collaborating with a broader team
Flexible schedule (standard hours roughly 8 a.m.–5 p.m., with variability based on client needs)
