The University of South Alabama, an NCAA Division I institution, is seeking applicants for the position of Athletics Compliance Coordinator. Reporting to the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, this position serves to assist in the overall operation of athletic compliance for the University.
This position assists the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance with the following duties: * operation, amateurism, and financial aid components of student-athlete eligibility in order to assure compliance with NCAA, Sun Belt Conference, and University rules and regulations; * organize, maintain and oversee student-athlete files, which include squad lists, grants-in-aid agreements, NLI's, NCAA required forms, student-athlete academic records, and recruiting records; * collaborate with various personnel on campus; * assist with planning and implementing a continuing compliance education program; * performs game management for home athletic, and special events; * attend Regional and National conferences which may require overnight stays; * maintains student-athlete information using CA and ARMS; * attend various athletic events and functions which include evenings and weekends.
Other responsibilities include: prompt and regular attendance; ability to work schedule as defined and after hours as required; flexible work schedule maintained; other duties as assigned by the Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, Director of Athletics, and/or his designee.

Requirements for the position are a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution as approved and accepted by the University of South Alabama. Division I compliance experience is highly preferred.
