Job Summary The role of the Assistant Athletic Director for Development is to support all Athletics fundraising efforts including, but not limited to, donor stewardship and cultivation and annual fund solicitation.
As a member of the Director of Athletics Senior Administrative Team, this position will be responsible for providing the strategic direction for the department annual fund and related events. This individual will work closely with the Associate Athletic Director of Development to develop a multi-year fundraising plan that addresses major gift and annual fund goals each year.
Minimum Qualifications Qualified candidates must have:
At least two (2) years’ experience in the area of Athletic Development
Preferred Qualifications Preference for candidates who have:
Experience with annual giving
Experience with donor cultivation and stewardship
Familiarity with NCAA rules, specifically related to donor relations
Demonstrated ability to manage fundraising events
Demonstrated ability to manage several tasks with a high level of organization
