Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist head coach in practice and competition planning and implementation
- Assist in all facets of recruiting and retention of student-athletes to the men’s ice hockey program
- Assist with strength and conditioning program for men’s ice hockey
- Assist with all funding raising initiatives for the Hiram College men’s ice hockey program
- Do athletic laundry in sport season
- Participate in Annual Day with Hiram Golf Outing
- Other duties as assigned, to possibly include, but not be limited to other sport event management during the off-season
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong working knowledge of men’s ice hockey
- Ability to teach skills and strategy of men’s ice hockey
- Working knowledge of strength and conditioning relative to men’s ice hockey
- Applicants must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented office environment and interact in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, visitors, and the public.

- Proficient with all forms of social media
Experience
- Previous college men’s ice hockey and/or coaching experience preferred
- Experience recruiting college athletes preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Acceptance into the Hiram College MAIS Graduate Program or Sports Management Graduate program required for consideration
