Performs and oversees office management and support duties for the Ticket Office, sells season and individual game tickets on a daily basis using the Agile ticket system, assists the Ticket Manager with her duties as needed and in her absence, serves as the backup petty cash clerk, supervises student workers, assists with compliance duties as assigned by the Assistant AD for Compliance. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: receives and assists visitors, receives and directs phone calls, opens and routes mail, prepares incoming and outgoing shipments, verifies procard expenditures, acquires and maintains office supplies, coordinates on-campus recruiting visits, coordinates or assists in the coordination of fundraising events, and works all football, basketball games and any events hosted by Athletics. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
High school diploma with three (3) years of related professional experience or a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with one (1) year of related professional experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer, word processing and spreadsheet skills. Ability to interpret and follow University, TBR, OVC, and NCAA policies and procedures. Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities efficiently with frequent interruptions. Strong attention to detail. Ability to organize and set priorities regarding work assignments. Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible manner. Ability to supervise workers. Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with a diverse group of staff, student-athletes, University personnel, and the public. Ability to work weekend and evening hours, including travel to away competitions.
