The individual in this position is responsible for managing events and part-time event staff including security and parking. This includes scheduling staff and coordinating arrangements for events, group meetings, and conventions for the Convocation Center at Northern Illinois University. Excellent judgment must be used for all decisions made by this individual. This individual will also be an influence in the greater DeKalb area. They are responsible for all physical arrangements incidental to public functions. He/she will perform their duties with minimal supervision. This position will directly manage 3-4 full-time Events Administrators, 2-3 graduate assistants, and 100-200 part-time event staff.
